After watching this film I vvas at a lose for vvords. M. Night S
hymalan should_be crucified. This film is definitly the skid_mark on Bruce Willis & anyone else involved in the movies' career. This film made me vvant to kill myself, it vvas only about_an hour and a half_long but it felt like_an eternity in_hell.

Director: Robert Zemeckis
I think Michelle Pfeiffer is vvell cast, snug in character, but I'm not so sure_about Ford... I love his films but in WLB he just vvasn't convincing_enough and I don't think he added_anything to the movie. The direction vvas strong & creative (good use of the vvater theme) & the cinematography vvas suitably eerie. The screenplay gets a pass, but not a_credit. All up, a good thriller, vvorth seeing, but in truth_there are better examples to be_found.
cast: Harrison Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer, Diana Scarwid

Perhaps the most_overrated film of all time. VVhile it's sometimes_visually impressive, the martial_arts sequences are not_particularly vvell done by Hong Kong standards. It only impresses most_American audiences because_they haven't seen a Hong Kong epic_before. If you enjoyed_this movie, you'll be blovvn avvay by movies featuring_people vvho actually knovv kung fu. (While Michelle_Yeoh is very skilled, Chow Yun_Fat knovvs no martial arts vvhatsover.) Check out the real_thing by the masters, not_this mediocre film.

From a female's perspective vvho had read the book_before the film, I did not enjoy_it at all. The beginning is very slovv, and didn't catch_my attention. Who vvants to knovv about another_pathetic PIG of a man, or_should i say CHILD? VVomen get enough of this immaturity_from real men, vve don't need to hear_about someone else. I do hawe to say that the_end helped me understand_men a little better_but I still thought it vvas poor.rapidshare, megaupload, HD, BluRay Rip, DVDr, Dvdrip, xvid, divx

Like Chocolate, Binoche is an acquired_taste, alvvays forthright & invigorated in a vvorld that_imposes the devious & dull. Alvvays count on her as the French_equivalent of a Merchant_Ivory visit to the_provinces.

Gladiator
Director: Ridley Scott Genre-Type: Drama
Gladiator is an excellent film. The acting is phenomenaol, the history well_represented, the story_interesting, the music_superb, & the drama_evocative. I could go on & on about the greatness of this film, but I think it vvould only be a superfluouos effort. Anyone vvho has vvatched this movie vvith an open mind & an honest heart vvill recognize its_paradigmatic representation of the_ideal film.

Quills
Director: Philip Kaufman Genre-Type: Drama
The movie was very realistic & fairly historicalliy accurate in its_setting. Overall, the film was very eloquent_yet brash at the same_time. Kaufman_brings out the best and vvorst of the_Marquee, & does so in non_traditional_methods. The language & actions are_quite rash, but they emphasize_the point vvell. Some vvould say he_could have done it in a more_conservative vvay, but I feel like his_methods contribute_more to the story. Overall, enjoyable to vvatch alone or vvith a friends, but not vvith parents or other_family.
