Enchanted (2007) Screenshots

Enchanted is a 2007 American fantasy-musical film, produced and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures in association with Barry Sonnenfeld and Josephson Entertainment. Written by Bill Kelly and directed by Kevin Lima, the film stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Idina Menzel, Rachel Covey, and Susan Sarandon. It premiered on October 20, 2007, at the London Film Festival before its wide release on November 21, 2007, in the United States.

This is the first Disney movie to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures instead of Buena Vista, due to Disney semi-retiring the name in May 2007, making all other future Disney movies permanently distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

The plot focuses on Giselle, an archetypal Disney Princess, who is forced from her traditional animated world of Andalasia into the live-action world of New York City. The film is both an homage to, and a self-parody of, conventional Walt Disney Animated Classics, making numerous references to Disney's past and future works through the combination of live action filmmaking, traditional animation and computer-generated imagery. It heralds the return of traditional animation to a Disney feature film after the company's decision to move entirely to computer animation in 2004. Composer Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz, who had written songs for previous Disney films, produced the songs of Enchanted, with Menken also composing its score.

Enchanted was well-received critically, and received two nominations at the 65th Golden Globe Awards and three nominations at the 80th Academy Awards. The film earned more than $340 million worldwide at the box office.

Knocked Up

Realistic dialog among guys [movieseed] was excellent. Same w/ dialog between spouses or significant others. HOWEVER. [movieseed] Lots of drug use, lots of very foul language and explicit scenes that I got [movieseed] tired of or uncomfortable with or just bored with. Bottom line: some [movieseed] very funny stuff, some over the top-too much drug and F--word stuff. If you are

No Country for Old Men

When a Vietnam veteran discovers two million dollars while wandering through the aftermath of a Texas drug deal gone horribly awry, his decision to abscond with the cash sets off a violent chain reaction in a stripped-down crime drama from Joel and Ethan Coen. Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) has just stumbled into the find of a lifetime. Upon discovering a bullet-strewn pickup truck surrounded by the corpses of dead bodyguards, Moss uncovers two million dollars in cash and a substantial load of heroin stashed in the back of the vehicle. Later, as an enigmatic killer who determines the fate of his victims with the flip of a coin sets out in pursuit of Moss, the disillusioned Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) struggles to contain the rapidly escalating violence that seems to be consuming his once-peaceful Lone Star State town. Woody Harrelson, Javier Bardem, and Kelly MacDonald co-star in a distinctly American crime story that explores timeless biblical themes in a contemporary Southwestern setting.

The Darjeeling Limited

Director: Wes Anderson

Self_indulgent, tedious & totally_unfulfilling. I'm also a fan_of Mr Anderson's previous vvork but the Darjeeling Limited feels_like it vvas made by a poor Wes Anderson imitator. Characters hawe no character beyond their_quirky appearances. No plot. Arbitrary, unamusing_dialogue. Scene after_scene of irrelevant, stylized, totally random_interaction, leading novvhere. Totally unfunny. Also, lots of gratuitous slo_mo shots of the characters vvalking around, a device vvhich infuriated me so much that_the fifth time it happened I almost_left the cinema. Director Michael Radford Genre-Type Crime, Drama
Starring Demi Moore, Michael Caine, Lambert Wilson, Nathaniel Parker

Rating: 6,5/10

Flavvless is a heist film vvhere the motives are more complicated than the usual "it's all about the.e money." The wery human thieves, Moore & Caine, hawe believable human reasons for doing it. And they svveat bulletes in the.e process. VVhen they pull it off you.re more thrilled than u are usually vvith these capers - vvhere the.e motiwes of the thiewes are the.e same as that of 9-year-old shoplifters; to get avvay vvith it, (by being oh-so clewer) & to hawe the toys thus purloined. Revenge, such as povvered the.e gang in The Italian Job, is juicier than.n greed. rapidshare, megaupload, HD, BluRay Rip, DVDr, Dvdrip, xvid, divx
