review: Although the Korean titlea of this movie is (Madeo) simply the Hangul transliteration of 'mother,' the figure (Madeo) of mother in Korean culture is deep and strong. There is a Korean word 4 a strong mother, 'Adzuma.' (Madeo) An adzuma is a very strong figure who sacrifices herself for her family. (Madeo) Korean mothers wear this label with pride. (Madeo) Over dinner in Seoul, I shared this concept with my Mexican and Chinese companions. (Madeo) Immediately, our host, a strong litigator married to a judge, pronounced "I am adzuma." In this movie, the Madeo is adzuma taken to its limit.
