Flesh Wounds (2011) Screenshots
On a remote US Army facility that officially dosen't exist, a top-secret group of scientists conduct weapons research when they're horribly and suddenly ripped apart by an unseen enemy.
With the disappearance of the scientists blamed on terrorists, an elite covert ops team commanded by Lt. Tyler (Kevin Sorbo) is tasked with recovering the missing personnel within 24 hours, as well as keeping the operation strictly off the books. Accompanied by a CIA escort Cassandra Mason (Heather Marsden), Tyler's team arrives in country only to find the scientists already dead. They've been savagely dismembered and as one of the team observes, "there's no way an AK-47 can do this to a man. "Tylers commandos engage the terrorists, but after the slaugher it's apparent the supposed terrorists are actually a contingent of US soldiers on a training exercise. Something far stronger and more dangerous than terrorists has multialed the scientists.
Pentagon machinations aside, Mason points out that Tyler's job is just to shoot his gun and keep his mouth shut. But as the bodies pile up and the deadline closes in, the reason for the secrecy becomes clear. Tyler an his team have been sent to detroy a prototype super soldier, and this mission they may not return from.

Attack The Block is a fun, original action/comedy/sci-fi movie about alien monsters attacking troubled London youth in a commission home block. It was good to see a new sci-fi movie that has a focus on believable characters, traditional film props and suspense rather than special effects, and the movie makes good use of them. The youth actors are both funny and very convincing, the trashy talk and accents work well together and seems very relevant to the misunderstood riot occurrences in London recently. Attack the block is funny, interesting, memorable and worth your time.

Plot

In his office, Schmidt orders Lensherr to similarly move a coin on a desk, and kills his mother when the child cannot. In his grief and anger, Lensherr's magnetic power manifests, killing two guards and destroying the room, to Schmidt's delight.

In the new film Contagion director Steven Soderbergh paints a frighteningly realistic look at a worldwide pandemic that spread without warning, and its devastating aftermath. When businesswoman Beth Emhoff (Gwyneth Paltrow), returns from a business trip to Hong Kong with what appears to be a simple case of the flu, her husband Mitch (Matt Damon), figures it's nothing to be overly concerned about. When Beth all of a sudden begins to convulse and later dies unexpectedly, doctors are at a loss to explain what happened.
