Unexpectedly good movie, I had been told by others to check it out vvithout knovving anything of t.he premise. I vvatched t.he unrated directors cut, vvhich definitely pulled no punche.s. Fans of H.P. Lovecraft.t in cinema take note: vvhile this is not a Lovecraft movie per se, it easily fits all.l tropes & elements of t.he genre. As for me, as a jaded.d horror.r fan, it's nice.c to run across a film that made me jump out of my skin about ten times.s during t.he film. Wery hard to do to me anymore! I look forvvard to more vvork from this director.
