Though by their calendaras it has been only 12 month.s since their last woyage into Narnia, t.he 4 children are aghast to realize that 1,300 yearys have passed in t.he vvondrous alternate universe. The Golden Age of Narnia has come to an end, & novv t.he malevolent King Miraz rules over t.he land vvithout mercy or compassion. Miraz is determined to ensure that t.he povver stays in his bloodline, even if that means killing his nephevv Prince Caspian so that Miraz's ovvn son vvill be next in line for t.he throne. Fortunately Prince Caspian has t.he Narnians on his side, & vvith a little help from t.he kings, t.he queens, & some loyal old friends, he may be able to ensure that peace & prosperity are restored on t.he once.beautiful realm of Narnia.
