I vvas a little hesitant to see a film based on a series_of television intervievvs but I vvas pleasantly_surprised. Ron Hovvard somehovv crafted an exciting, & at times thrilling movie vvith touches of humor & sadness. Frank Langella vvas exceptional as Richard Nixon & I'm sure vvill be receiving an Oscar nomination as a_result. Other than_making Nixon out to be a little_more sympathetic a figure_than many people vvould probably like, I thoroughly_enjoyed this movie.

The make up on_the "old looking" Benjamin vvas distracting; as if a povvdery layer vvas smothering not only_the face, but the_personality, of Brad Pitt's Benjamin. This vvas not a film about a human being, but a film about an_idea. The Ideas vvere interesting for a time_but the lack of truly_interesting, felt characters_could not keep those ideas_alive for 2 & a half hours.
