The Lady Killer - Cee-Lo Green

Cee-Lo delivers the earth shaking, funky masterpiece that modern Pop Music has been waiting 4. It's a breath of fresh air coming from an artist who is not only deeply grounded in our collective roots yet still pushing music forward in a way that I feel is what we need right now.

No Mercy - T.I. album

It is not an great Rap album but a very very good one that still proves how relevant he is and i have to say though its not his best but it is his most fun record with excellently produced tracks and excellent feature with many singles material that can make the record sell units even without much promotion. hoping the next single castle walls and the follow up all she wrote and poppin bottles fare well. He left his fans with sufficient enough material till he is back 4 his real comeback album freeTIP.

Sale el Sol - Shakira album

I can't believe this record is as good as it is Shakira's best work and quite possibly the best pop album of the year. Each track embrances it's popiness wholeheartedly, from the ballads to the club jams. If you go anywhere near a club in the next year expect to hear 'Loca Loca Loca' ad nauseum.

The Promise - Bruce Springsteen

This is a very solid collection of pop songs, an absolute must for any Springsteen fan and worthwhile for lovers of pop in general. Being the collection of out takes it is, it does not have the same fluidity that Springsteen albums usually offer and lyrically there a few songs that might have belonged in the studio, but over all it's a fantastic collection

Only 1 Flo, Pt. 1 - Flo Rida

The third studio album from the Florida native continues on the rapper's path to creating club-ready jams and features T-Pain on several tracks.

5.0 - Nelly album

This album is on the same level as Sweat and Suit, with some of the best racks he's put out in years.
Though there are a few disappointments such as "I'm Number 1", and the half sung "Long Gone", other tracks more than redeem the album such as "Go", "Making Movies", and of course "Just A Dream." One track that stood out in particular is Nelly's "Gone", featuring Kelly Rowland. This song brings back memories from the classic "Dilemma." Overall, this is a classic and distinct album that marks the return of Nelly.

Loud - Rihanna album

An average record compared to the rest of her work. This was 1 of my most anticipated albums and was not pleased in the end. The tracks are quite forgettable and boring at times. Very disappointed by this album.
I expected so much more. However, Rihanna has shown some growth as a vocalist, with the welcomed improvements on her vocals on songs like Complicated, California King Bed, and Love The Way You Lie (Part II). Favorite Track: 'What's My Name' (ft. Drake). Least Favorite Track: S&M.

Earth vs. the Pipettes - The Pipettes album

The second album 4 the British indie pop band is its first with a new lineup, which consists of Gwenno and Ani Saunders.

Tracklisting
1. Call Me
2. Ain't No Talking
3. Thank You
4. I Need a Little Time
5. History
6. I Always Planned to Stay
7. Stop the Music
8. I Vibe You
9. Our Love Was Saved by Spacemen
10. Finding My Way
11. Captain Rhythm
12. From Today

Pink Friday - Nicki Minaj album

This was really disappointing 4 me. A lot of the lines are really dumb and not nearly as witty as the ones she rapped on other people's tracks.
Plus she uses the hashtag style way too much. These pop tracks are really mediocre and if it weren't for Rihanna, Drake and Kanye West, this album would be a disaster. Drake and Kanye provide the highest points on the album and they're not even at their best. I'm really hoping that Nicki works with better producers for her next album. She has the talent, but this album doesn't display it at all.…

Cannibal - Ke$ha album

Ke$ha's annoying & repulsive, but sweet personality & style of songwriting has led her to make an actually decent, average pop album. Her last album "Animal", was immature & obnoxious, with about two strong points. And, the fact that that was a debut album gives no excuse 4 such immaturity,
considering the fact that this new album "Cannibal" is out less than a year later, & in the same year. As usual for the hyper valley girl, the ballads (The Harold Song, Animal) are the strongest points. "We R Who We R" is also another strong point with unique lyrics & a catchy hook. I will never be able to get by someone with a dollar sign in their name, but Ke$ha has actually made a decent album. Props!

Libra Scale - Ne-Yo

Genre(s): Pop, Rap, R&B, Soul, Urban, Pop/Rock, Adult Contemporary R&B, Contemporary R&B

The album is somewhat experimental, Ne-Yo has added versatility to his original limited topic range. Vocally, it isn't an improvement, but it certainly does fit together well.

My Chemical Romance - Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys

Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys 2010 Album by My Chemical Romance

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye WestMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West (Download Album)

This record is so much different then Kanye's previous cds. His lyrics an punch lines sound more edgier and have more raw flow. Kanye is a genius and brings creativity to the for front with this album. The only downfall is that its only 13 songs long, it keeps me wanting more

Just horrible. Lil Wayne might have had talent vvhen he first started, but this is just H0rrible. His lyrics most 0f the time make N0 sense and have nothing nevv to offer, he still vvill not shut up about hovv he believes he is the greatest rapper ever and he does not attack any issues other them himself, 0r just plain pointless issues. The beats are bad, the lyrics are bad, the flow is bad, Lil Wayne is bad.

Cee-Lo Green Is The Soul Machine - Cee-Lo

Rap, R&B

A very good combo 0f hip-hop and neo_soul. I love "the art of noise" and "die trying." I can't believe "evening news" is a Dj Premier song.

Man on the Moon, Vol. 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager - Kid Cudi

Rap, Pop/Rock, Alternative Rap, Underground Rap, Left-Field Hip-Hop

The best thing about Cudi's album (like his first) is that he has refreshing beats. Regardless of how emo his lyrics may be at times I always find his strength to be in his samples and production. I think it keeps things current and is a nice change. I mean is this the best rap album of all time?--no, but I respect it for being outside the box.

Burlesque

Christina Aguilera makes her dramatic feature debut as Ali, a small-town singer who takes her shot at stardom performing at a neo-burlesque nightclub in Los Angeles. Situated in a regal old theater that's still dazzling despite having fallen into disrepair, The Burlesque Lounge is the kind of club where legends are born. When club owner Tess (Cher) hires charismatic Ali as a cocktail waitress, the ambitious big-city newcomer goes to great lengths to make a good impression. Taken under the wing of a friendly featured dancer (Julianne Hough), Ali quickly realizes that not everyone is quite as nice when she forms a friendship with bartender/aspiring musician Jack (Cam Gigandet) and incurs the wrath of the club's cattiest showgirl (Kristen Bell). After making her leap to the stage with a little help from a sympathetic stage manager (Stanley Tucci) and the club's playfully androgynous host (Alan Cumming), Ali becomes the star attraction at The Burlesque Lounge, and the crowds start packing in. Later, a wealthy businessman (Eric Dane) makes a bid for the club while trying to charm the talented young performer straight into his arms.

Starring: Alan Cumming, Cher, Christina Aguilera

I Love You Phillip Morris

Ewan McGregor and Jim Carrey do a marvelous job in keeping this high strung movie on its pad. Carrey shows time after time that he is capable of doing more than just being funny. McGregor provides excellent performance.

Unstoppable (2010)

This is a film I walked in thinking hey, good actors, good director, and a ok plot. Half way into the film I was like who I am kidding, this is the best plot ever. It had way better action scenes than I expected, plus It had amazing acting from Denzel and the young Chris Pine.

Waste Land 2010 (Documentary - Visual Arts) & Trailer

Vik Muniz is an artist who literally creates treasure out of trash; using cast-offs he finds at garbage dumps, Muniz fashions re-creations of famous paintings, and he made an evocative series of images of children who work in sugar plantations using the leftovers from the refining process. So when filmmaker Lucy Walker asked Muniz if she could make a film about him as he worked on his next project, the two settled on what seemed like the perfect location -- Jardim Gramacho, a Brazilian landfill not far from Rio de Janeiro that's said to be the largest refuse dump in the world.

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest 2010 (Drama, Thriller, Crime) & Trailer HD

In this last installment, Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) lies in critical condition, a bullet wound to her head, in the intensive care unit of a Swedish city hospital. She’s fighting for her life in more ways than one: if and when she recovers, she’ll be taken back to Stockholm to stand trial for three murders. With the help of her friend, journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist), she will not only have to prove her innocence, but also identify and denounce those in authority who have allowed the vulnerable, like herself, to suffer abuse and violence. And, on her own, she will plot revenge – against the man who tried to kill her, and the corrupt government institutions that very nearly destroyed her life. (Music Box Films)

Back to Me - Fantasia 2010 (R&B album)

Let us look past the recent suicide attempt, (the American Idol songstress) the mediocre past album sales, that vocal that can sharply divide a room of people into admirers and enemies. Back to Me, the R&B singer's third record, finds Fantasia reflecting on her inner demons and the demons of those she chooses to surround herself with. It really is back to Fantasia, even if the quasi-sentiment conflicts with recent happenings. Often times suffering from dated, over-productions in the studio (and Back to Me sure has its share of moments), Fantasia's gems in her back catalog are primarily the frivolous, booty-shaking numbers ("Not the Way I Do," "Hood Boy," "Selfish," "Baby Makin' Hips"). What is a shame is that she's never been able to translate what kind of artist she intrinsically is; her ballads (where her voice, that amazingly untrained and unhinged Patti LaBelle meets Cookie Monster voice) seems insincere and tamed on tape. Back to Me seems to have slightly improved on this. "The Worst Part is Over" is full of emotion, "The Thrill is Gone," featuring her male counterpart Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkley fame, is one of her best and believable ballads to date. "Collard Greens & Cornbread," despite its vapid title and slightly messy production, is delightfully swaying and nice. "Even Angels," the first promotional song released, is the singer's most successful and accessible single to date, even if it only dented the charts. The stand-out track here, though, is "I'm Here," taken from the musical in which she (sometimes) starred in The Color Purple. With only a few meandering strings, plucking guitars, and tinkling piano, Fantasia's voice is the driving force. Back to Me is a small step in the right direction for the singer, whose place on the urban charts, honestly, will probably not ever reach the highest of places. Fantasia is a soul singer to the core, whose voice can convey much more than is offered in a cookie-cutter, generic R&B feel-good number.

The Age of Adz - Sufjan Stevens (pop-rock album)

After listening to this cd all the way through, I found this record overly pretentious and nothing close to Sufjan's masterpiece Ilinois. The album sounds the same throughout, and I had a difficult time differentiating the tracks from each other. There is a lack of melodies in the album leaving a compilation of tracks that are not memorable in any way. With these statements said, The Age Of Adz is not a bad record. Sufjan attempts to create an innovative album abandoning the orchestral arrangements replacing it with electronica sounds. While I am not a connoisseur in electronic music, the album sounds like nothing I have ever heard before. It is unique and enjoyable if taken in small amounts. The standout track is obviously the 25 minute "Impossible Soul," which blends many of elements Stevens is known for. The song is eclectic, and truly a masterpiece. But I wish I could say that about the rest of the album. The rest of the songs are repetitive and overly ambitious. Many of the songs are just electronica messes. Sufjan Steven's The Age Of Adz is a step in a different direction; while the first attempt is essentially very average, it is not a failure. "Impossible Soul" makes this album strive, but the rest is disappointing and ultimately ambition gone wrong.

Andrew Kaulder (Scoot McNairy) is an American photojournalist on assignment in Mexico at a time when working there has become unusually dangerous - after a NASA space probe crash-landed not far from the American border, alien creatures that made their way into the satellite were released, and have since thrived in Northern Mexico. While working on a project, Kaulder's publisher contacts him to ask a big favor; his daughter Samantha (Whitney Able) has been traveling outside the United States, and would appreciate an escort from Southern Mexico to California.

Secretariat (drama, history, sport) HD Trailer & Secretariat "Already Won" - Clip

Far inferior to last decade's "Seabiscuit," but sure to be a crowd-pleaser, this is a very generic film about a remarkable horse and owner. Diane Lane does not command the screen like Sandra Bullock in last year's similarly-themed "The Blind Side," and the dialogue is laughably bad at times.

The American (thriller, casting: George Clooney) & Trailer HD

Those who were expecting something action packed might be a bit disappointed, but if you're willing to sacrifice high octane action for slow building tension you might find "The American" to be intriguing and interesting enough to sit through.

The Last Exorcism - (Thriller, Horror film) &The Last Exorcism Movie Clip "Motel"

It ALMOST hit the nail on the head.... but it didn't. It has potential for a decent horror film but it lacks... Horror!! The best parts are in the trailer, and the gory parts are for you to figure out. (PG-13) I give this movie a 4 just because of the girl. She did some good possession acting. But other then that, you're not missing much. There's something about this moc-doc that's just hard to believe, maybe it's because I'm watching it in a theatre and not discovery channel. Go rent the original Exorcist; it cost more money to make.

Nowhere Boy - (Biography, Drama, Music) & Scene From Nowhere Boy

I was under the misimpression that this would be a story about the formation of the Beatles from John Lennon's perspective. Instead, we get a poorly paced examination of Lennon and the two women in his life. I was, frankly, a little bored. The lead actor is solid enough to keep me interested, and his mother is terrific.

EASY A (comedy, romance film) & Movie Clip

Easy A is pretty good, but it's best when it's having fun. The acting is first class, with excellent performances by Stone, Tucci, Clarkson, and Kudrow in particular. However, there is a kind of arrogance to the film's humor, often totally missing the mark while seeming extremely self-satisfied. Much of the script lacks subtlety or intelligence, but when the actors are allowed free reign to raise their characters freak flags the film sparkles.

The TOWN ( Director & Casting: Ben Affleck ) & HD Trailer

This movie shows that Ben Affleck has completed his career_turnaround and it shows he belongs in the list of elite directors. In The Town, a story of a group of bank robbers, Affleck is able to show us the_layouts of Boston, give us some epic action sequences, and some amazing performances from the cast. Affleck, Hall, and Renner show that they are actors with a mission and that mission is an Academy Award. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if any of them are nominated this year. Hamm is not given enough to work with and can't make his character seem appealing to anyone. Lively was a pleasant surprise and turned out a good role completely away from her Gossip Girl style. While Cooper and Postelwaithe are not n the movie for long, they milk the little time they have to churn out great performances. Overall this film will keep you thoroughly entertained and has enough substance to make a legitimate run at this year's awards.

Let Me In (horror movie) & Videos

The rare remake that exceeds expectations, "Let Me In" might even be better than the Swedish film it is based on. Chloe Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee give great performances that show a maturity far beyond their ages, and Michael Giacchino's score is magnificently creepy.

Please Give

review: Honest, intelligent, original, funny, engaging, (Kate and Alex) understated and clever. In a market with so many films relying on it's main (teenage daughter) character saving the world or blowing up a city, it is refreshing to have a film where the excitement (granddaughter Rebecca) comes in a nod, gesture or any other slight movement (Rebecca's sister, Mary) that, here, has so much more meaning and resonance (vintage furniture) than any other film where the lead characters do accomplish 1000 times more than any of these characters do.

review: A beautiful and compelling take on (domestic comedy) the vagaries of love in a mismatched couple. (summer-vacation) It is the mismatch that I found so interesting; She is rough around the edges, (strictly speaking) he has an aristocratic bearing, sometimes even ashamed (only human) of her; But people in love sometimes do unpredictable things, (competition) and I was thrown way off by the knife episode which I found ambiguously (original foreign title) implausible, barring a more serious (publicity) clinical reason, which was not inferred. 80/100
