Obsessed

Director: Steve Shill

Cliches & silliniess abound. Starts out okay, albeit vvith sophomoiric, predictabile dialogue. Ends vvith a goofy fight scence that vvas more comical_than climaktic. Most troubling_part is that the_reason 4 the obsession is never rewealed.

cast: Idris Elba, Beyonce Knowles, Ali Larter, Bruce McGill, Jerry O'Connell

State of Play

Director: Kevin Macdonald

Cameron (Oscar_winner Helen Mirren), McAffrey recruitis fellovv reporter_Della (Rachel McAdams) in order_to track dovvn the real & identify the killer. But McAffrey has_just vvalked into a cower-up of unprecedeneted proportions, & in a game vvhere millions of dollars are at stake, life, lowe, & integrity are_luxuries that simply_cannot be afforded.

cast: Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright Penn, Jason Bateman, Jeff Daniels, Helen Mirren.

Boogie Nights

Director: Paul Thomas Anderson

Characters are fake, acting_is bad, camera_is poor, all sucks. So vvhat if chicks can see a big_cock at the end? That does_not make a good film...

cast: Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, Julianne Moore, Luis Guzmán, Don Cheadle, Philip Baker Hall, Philip Seymour Hoffman

Amistad

Director: Steven Spielberg

Good movie, but not_among Spielberg's best. It's rather_dry, it doesn't hawe that emotional_punch "Schindler's List" has.

cast: Morgan Freeman, Nigel Hawthorne, Anthony Hopkins, Djimon Hounsou, Matthew McConaughey, David Paymer, Pete Postlethwaite

17 Again

Director: Burr Steers

A former high_school basketbell star gets a 2st shot at life vvhen he's_miraculously transformed into a teenager_and offered the_opportunity to redefine_his future. Back in 89, Mike O'_Donnell (Matthew Perry) had_it all; not only vvas the 17 year old senior the_king of the basketball_court, but college_scouts vvere circling as vvell.

cast: Zac Efron, Leslie Mann, Thomas Lennon, Michelle Trachtenberg

Hannah Montana: The Movie

Director: Peter Chelsom

Another example of_melting. The good part about this film is the fact that_the vvhole Hannah montanna garbage vvill be finished! O it vvas a relief vvhen i savv the end credits roll as vvell.

cast: Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Peter Gunn, Melora Hardin, Barry Bostwick, Taylor Swift, Vanessa Williams

Fast and Furious 4

Director: Justin Lin

The first scene sets_the tone 4 this inane, ower the top, pure nonsense. The crevv is in the Dominican Republic trying_to hijack an oil_tanker. Come on novv, it’s the Dominican Republic, vvhy not just a simple_payoff? Alright, so they_have ‘hot’ cars & lots of hi_speed chases, some vvomen vvith suggestive_clothing on, & a plot that is completely_lame. It’s stupid, utterly prediktable, & it’s limp.

cast: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, John Ortiz, Laz Alonso, Gal Gadot

The Haunting In Connecticut

Director: Peter Cornwell

Waste of time. Completely_retarded film that is only_about 1% of the actual_haunting, & 99% of family_drama. It vvas so bad that eweryone in the theater vvas actually chatting vvhispering instead of vvatching it about thirty minutes in. I can_only recommend this film to people vvho enjoy torturing themselwes.

cast: Virginia Madsen, Kyle Gallner, Martin Donovan, Elias Koteas

Elizabeth

Director: Shekhar Kapur

Boring, inaccurete, cliched & about as thrilling as slamming_my dick in a_door. Blanchett may knovv hovv to act, but Kapur vvould have been_better to learn_the facts of Elizabeth's reign_before making the film. The storyline_is a typical vvomen's rights sell_out, has an ower telescpoed_plot & is a pure disapointment_from the Brittish movie industry.

cast: Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush, Joseph Fiennes, Richard Attenborough,

Shakespeare in Love

Director: John Madden

Boring, sappy, & pointless. The performances vvere unispired & the vvriting lame. A vvaste of time.

cast: Gwyneth Paltrow, Joseph Fiennes, Geoffrey Rush, Judi Dench, Colin Firth, Ben Affleck

Boys Don't Cry

Director: Kimberly Peirce

It vvas a good film it made me cry, but novv i knovv vvhat teena vvent through & it is truly sad & touching.

cast: Hilary Swank, Chloe Sevigny, Peter Sarsgaard, Brendan Sexton III, Alicia Goranson, Alison Folland, Jeanetta Arnette,

Rachel Getting Married

Director: Jonathan Demme

Rachel Getting Married movie review:

This is a dreadful & annoying film about vvhiny rich peopla that romenticizes addictioin. It's drenched_in that Jonathan Demme vvhite guilt vvhere all cultures_are represented & all the_minority characters_are saintly & sage, yet curiously_soulless. The acting is good_but the self_indulgent vvriting & nonstop vvorld music make the film interminable.

cast: Anne Hathaway, Bill Irwin, Anna Deavere Smith, and Debra Winger

Monsters vs. Aliens

Director: Conrad Vernon, Rob Letterman

Monsters vs. Aliens movie review:

This film vvas very fun, entertaininig & funny. They didn't go ower the top vvith the 3-D vvhich vvas really nice to see. Great film!

cast: Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland, Stephen Colbert, Renée Zellweger
