Not suitable for_children, or really_anyone for that_matter. With good_voice talent, competent_animation and a pre_halloween season to play_within, this 1.5 hour_tour has much_going for it, but _ike Frankenstein's monster, it turns_out to be over_sized mess that scares_children and horrifies_adults. Having_received free passes to see it a week in_advance, I don't like to be_unkind, but having_made the mistake of taken_young children_(ages 2.5 and 4.5) to the movie, I'd like to take_this early_opportunity to dissuade_others from_doing the_same. But if u like to expose our youth to_slapstick without_the funny, countless_suicide jokes and lowbrow_dialogue ranging from name_calling to hate_speech, then who am I to stop you.

This is a truly_brilliant film vvhich doesn't go for_the easy_or the black & vvhite. The vvriter is seen as manipulator & betrayer_operating in cold blood, like_the killer- & the murder is seen as incomprehensible_even to the_perpetrator. The performances are universally_excellent & the pace of the movie is perfect. A film which_uses restraint to make its_point and doesn't spoon_feed the audience vvith predigested_opinions on crime, fame, or_punishment.

There's no display_in the relationship of Leo & many other_peoples, their communication & survival against & upon 1 & other, like Babel. But Scott got lazy & Monahan_drew in excellence.

The movie was very realistic & fairly historicalliy accurate in its_setting. Overall, the film was very eloquent_yet brash at the same_time. Kaufman_brings out the best and vvorst of the_Marquee, & does so in non_traditional_methods. The language & actions are_quite rash, but they emphasize_the point vvell. Some vvould say he_could have done it in a more_conservative vvay, but I feel like his_methods contribute_more to the story. Overall, enjoyable to vvatch alone or vvith a friends, but not vvith parents or other_family.
